This first track on our homemade CD has two different meanings. We like to think of it as our way of telling people that different times are coming when we come to town. The reason for this is that we consider ourselves somewhat different from typical blues-rock bands that are present nowadays.
The other meaning is of course the more direct and somewhat autobiographical point of the song. It's a love song about breaking up. The " I might be getting cold feet" part can be seen in two different ways; as a doubt of love or a doubt of taking chances(perhaps in music industry).
Well that's the synopsis right there.
Enjoy the rest of the album!
lyrics
I'm sorry that I left you
To stand out all alone in the cold
I'm sorry that I left you
To stand out alone in the cold
And that i left you waiting 24 hours
24 hours at the telephone
But those were different times
A different set of rules to follow
Those were different times
A different set of rules to follow
Now I'm back out on the street
And I might be getting cold feet
I'm sorry that I left you
All blue and sad
Im sorry that I left you
All blue and sad
And that I left you to stand out in the cold
With no coat to warm your back
But those were different times
A different set of rules to follow
Those were different times
A different set of rules to follow
Now I'm back out on the street
And I might be getting cold feet
